Nothing is committed until you have seen the preview. You confirm the type of each column, and you pick the identity column: the one that says which record is which. Here that is name. Import the same file again next month and rows match up on that column, so prices update instead of the menu doubling in length.

Records a model generated are marked as such, and stay marked. When you deploy, you choose whether generated rows are served at all, so you can draft a catalog with AI and still serve only the rows a person has vouched for.
